As a teacher who has criss-crossed musical genres Vincent Figuri is seasoned in addressing different audiences in a wide variety of events. What he most enjoys is performing to young audiences such as the occasions when he presented music and theater in a number of concerts, performing with the three most noted musical ensembles in France:

  • Orchestre de Paris
  • Orchestre National de France
  • Orchestre National d’Île de France

During these events Vincent Figuri performed in the company of Hélène Grimaud, Emmanuel Ax, Nemanja Radulovic under the direction of Paavo Järvi, Zdenĕk Macal, Marek Janowski, Jiři Bĕlohlavek, David Zinman, Yoel Levi.
It is particularly in this orchestral cadre that the genre of musical melodrama is brought to fruition, the music reveals the literary connotations and emotionally projects the story by the integration of the wide range of registers present. Specialist in the genre of musical melodrama, Vincent Figuri has sculpted the value of his expertise as it is not only extremely useful to professional actors but also to musicians to further develop their communicative skills. The study of musical melodrama may enhance aptitudes of studies not directly linked to music or to theater, such as language.
In light of this double expertise, it is natural for Vincent Figuri to consecrate part of his time to teaching musical melodrama.

Vincent Figuri studied singing with the soprano Suzanne Sarroca and harmony with Isabelle Duha. He is a graduate of the Grenoble Music Conservatory (piano, chamber music). He has also studied drama at the prestigious Cours Florent and crowned his achievement with higher degrees in musicology and literature at the University of Sorbonne.
